(first off... I planted these in the wrong area... simply not enough soil depth)

When they finally bloomed (took a while here, we had a very bad summer for plants) they were beautiful. I loved all the colors. Will definitely add to my sunflower garden again!

2 grams of seed for the price is rather high considering shipping costs, but I was willing to pay that. However when the seeds arrived I found that much of the product was broken up pieces of seeds and dirt. I would have at least expected to receive 2 grams of viable seeds. Remind me to never buy seeds like this again.

If you live in the South, you know growing heirloom plants is a trial of all your patients and some. I got these as a gift for Mothers' Day. Potted them in peat cups, with miracle grow potting mix, kept them moist and waited. Never got any green. We're still waiting, but evidently these are not going to do anything now that December is here. I'm disappointed. I love Red Sunflowers and thought these would be a good mix. Not worth the money, time, soil and water. Not happy at all!

Now the Velvet Queens are an entirely different story! :)
