4Fairly easy to grow, and tasty, but they don't look like bell peppers  Oct 07, 2009
By Silea
For some reason only my red baby belle pepper seeds thrived, the yellows all foundered as seedlings (and due to the semi-random nature of the mix, i only had three yellow seeds in my packet, so i didn't get a chance to try again).

Once the seedlings took hold, though, they grew well, and i thinned down to one. I'm growing mine in a west-facing window sill in an 8" pot, which is far from ideal conditions, but it's thriving anyway. It grew to about 15" tall.

I've already cut off a few to eat peppers to eat, and despite how late it is in the season, my plant has 3 red peppers and 8 green ones still growing.

And while they do taste just like full-size red bell peppers, they look more like mini jalapenos or similar hot peppers. The picture on the packet is misleading. If you're serving these to guests, expect them to think they'll be spicy (they're not).

5Great minis!  Jun 01, 2009
By Sonya M. Owens "GhostHunter"
I was very exited to find these. I really got them for the baby reds. I love mini veggies, and container plants. They are hard to come by some times. In fact, I have never seen these seeds anywhere else except for here, or Renee's Garden website itself. Very happy with them. They are growing, but slow. But peppers grow slow anyway. No getting around it.
